So rediculus I took it down and J.R. Smith

Last night I posted a list of MLB players that allegedly tested positive for PED’s (Performance Enhansing Drugs) and as of now, I took it down. Why? It is such a bogus list of almost every big player in MLB in 2003. There is no way that there were that many big names that tested positive. Todd Helton was a name on that list that sent that red flags a blazin’. Now I know I am a Rockies fan and a Todd Helton fan, but that’s beside the point. Todd Helton is a player and person that we have watched his entire career and we all know without a doubt he would never do anything to himself to get ahead of others. Helton has played a career of baseball the “right way.” He’s a quiet person with no ego. He is not a Barry Bonds or Roger Clemens. It is Todd Helton who is playing his way into the Hall of Fame.


Last night’s game was one of the best pitched games I’ve ever seen. Jason Marquis should have stamped his ticket to start the All Star game after last night’s gem. He pitched a complete game two hit shutout while not breaking 90 pitches against arguably the best team in MLB. If he doesn’t start the All Star game, Jerry Manuel, the NL manager of this year’s All Star team, is the biggest idiot in baseball. Today the Rockies go for their first series win against the Dodgers of the season. Now only if the Giants would start losing!


Some unexpected news from yesterday, J.R. Smith was sentenced 90 days in jail years after a car accident that killed one of his friends. He will only serve 30 days as long as he completes 500 hours of community service mainly visiting kids in hospitals. Now it is bad for the Nuggets that J.R. is going to jail especially after the whole “Thuggets” name last year, but this will be good for J.R. and hopefully he will slow down. He currently has 29 points against his license and now his license is suspended for two years. Even after an accident that killed his friend, he has received two speeding tickets in Colorado. Hopefully this will teach him to slow down so he doesn’t kill himself someday. Do your 30 days J.R., come out and get back to work on your game. It’s time to grow up.
