Big Rockies Win

On Jackie Robinson day, where every player in MLB will wear number 42, the Rockies win a big game at Wrigley Field.  Jason Marquis pitched another GREAT game.  Going 7 innings giving up just one run.  Rockies got after the Cubs pitcher fast and put up 4 runs and ran him after just 3.0 innings pitched.  My only worry about this game is Hudson Street.  Very scary in the 9th, giving up a homerun to Derrick Lee then letting the next two batters up.  Clint Hurdle for once pulled the plug before it got ugly and Jason Grilli finished it off.  Another performance like this for Street and i will be starting the "make Manny, oops, I mean Manuel Corpus the closer" campaign.  Other than that, we just need to cut down on the strike outs and make contact when at bat.  Make the opposing teams D get us out.  The win snaps a 9 game losing streak at Wrigley and should help propel the Rox into L.A. when they take on the Dodgers this weekend.  Here is the box score on todays game!
